CODE3201/FADA3030

CODE3201: Graduation Project: Theory

This course serves as the culmination of the Computational Design specialisation within the Bachelor of Design program at UNSW. Students engage in research and thesis writing, informed by computational design theory and supported by practical work undertaken in FADA3030 Design Collaboration Studio 3. The course emphasizes the development of theoretical understanding and research skills pertinent to design practice.

FADA3030: Design Collaboration Studio 3

As the final studio course for the Bachelor of Design program and its specialisations in Integrated Design, Industrial Design, and Computational Design, this studio advances students’ critical, theoretical, and practical skills through self-directed projects. Students apply research insights and ideas from previous courses to develop and realise comprehensive design outcomes. The course fosters collaboration among peers across various disciplines and often involves partnerships with industry mentors or stakeholders, providing real-world context to the projects.
